Important information / guidelines for treatment in SPP Klinik

Welcome to SPP Klinik. To create the best possible conditions for treatment at our clinic, we kindly ask you to read the following guidelines. These ensure a safe, respectful, and professional experience for all clients.

Guidelines for treatment

All sessions (excluding initial assessments and group therapy) last a maximum of 50 minutes.
To ensure a calm and safe environment for all our clients, we ask that everyone behaves calmly while at the clinic.
We adhere to strict confidentiality rules. Information is only shared with consent or, in rare cases, if there is an acute and serious risk to the client or others. We also expect clients to respect each other’s privacy and not share anything they may see or hear about others at the clinic, for example in the waiting room or during group therapy.
SPP Clinic is a private clinic. Therefore, all consultations must be paid for. An initial assessment costs 4900 DKK, and all subsequent consultations with a psychiatrist cost 1850 DKK and with the specialized psychologist 1450 DKK. As a general rule, new appointments cannot be scheduled if more than one invoice remains unpaid. In case of non-payment, we reserve the right to terminate the treatment process.
If more than one appointment is missed without a valid reason, we reserve the right to end the treatment process. If the client is delayed the consultation will end at the planned time, and the normal fee for a consultation must be paid.
Extra time spent outside regular sessions (e.g., reviewing medical records, reading/responding to long emails, writing statements or reports) is charged at a rate of 1850 DKK per hour. These services are only offered if clinic operations allow for it.

All communication should preferably take place via secure email, which can be accessed through the Patient Portal on our website sppklinik.dk.

SPP Clinic is not an emergency clinic. We do not provide treatment for clients in acute suicidal crisis or under the influence of drugs. In cases of worsening conditions, we refer to the Psychiatric Emergency Department or other psychiatric services. Emergency sessions are only offered if we have the capacity. They are settled at the regular hourly rate.
We reserve the right to end the course of treatment if we deem it necessary. In such cases, we will provide guidance on further treatment options.
